One of the issues with wmv is that it does not stream, the file has to be fully downloaded before it starts. This can lead to a long wait. MP4 should be much better.

Thank you, Αndré! Until I understand the code better I have disabled 'special_chars' as you suggested and no conversion is done. Yes, "filename => title" is working as advertised.
