You'll need to change the site url in General Settings to reflect the https prefix.
And, if you want the site to always be accessed as https://.... you should setup redirection from http to https in a .htaccess file.

Perhaps a safer way to prevent emptying is to remove the TRUNCATE privilege from your dbuser Id in MySQL...

it should be rare that we need to empty a table... But once we do, the statement remains in future upgrades since we allow near unlimited jumpin...

Yes, I found the place to change the gallery URL.  I guess I'll make a fresh backup of the gallery first (just in case), and then try changing it.  If it doesn't screw anything up, then...

You already have some redirection in place.

https://inkscapecommunity.com redirects to http://forum.inkscapecommunity.com

And for the link to your gallery from SMF, you would need to add https:// to it.

Even with the default theme the titles are not showing so there must be some adjustment to the core cpg files some where

Please disable the bridge and then check your bridge settings. Post them here exactly as you input them, probably best with a screenshot. If you cannot disable the bridge please see the docs for instructions on recovering from a failed bridging.

Those themes look really nice.

I have looked around at a few different apps. So far the closest that comes to our needs is Chevereto. But I find it lacks in a few areas.
