As I recall - that table was cleared during upgrades dating back to when changes were being made - and needed the info to be refreshed... Apparently still carried forward in future updates. (old SQL never dies...)

The information in the exif table will...

New here and don't know squat about PHP... But got my gallery killed with  server updating to PHP 7..

It appears  as same error  as DAGGERS  posted on 1-27-16 and it appears there is a FIX in very next posting, but I don't know how to go about it (yes...

That fix was a temporary workaround. Best bet now is to upgrade to version 1.6.x, but you may run into a few problems if you were not up to date. Do a search on the forums regarding upgrading to 1.6 and you will find plenty of instruction. Here is one ...

Tried to do "fix" by using "cpg_installer_stub.php" and all i got was a error:

Releases of CPG not found at Github

What do I do now?

Been there done that, all I get is error when I try to run "upgrader.php"...

This is error, sort of puts me back to square 1...

It would seem that your server is not configured in a way that will allow the method to work for you.

Your options are:
Get your hosting provider to backoff PHP7 long enough for you use the "upgrader.php" method. (other thread)

Get your hosting provide...

Use the 1.6.03 version here: https://github.com/coppermine-gallery/cpg1.6.x/releases

Follow the same method as for 1.5.  You MUST run <your-cpg-site>/update.php after uploading all the files.

YES for second time, may have entered "update.php" incorrectly in URL first time around and did not any error message...

Everything seems good now.. Keeping fingers crossed!

Found the issue - and it is a duh thing. Should have checked the most recent change.  New theme - login dropdown was same as background color.

How do i remove a bridge between CM and SMF?

I have been tasked with helping someone fix their Coppermine gallery.
However, when i try to login to CM it jumps me to SMF. 
So I dont see a way to manage Coppermine.

Do you have phpmyadmin access? You can use that to browse to the config table and disable bridging there by changing the 1 to a 0 in the bridged_enable entry
